Chaucer and women

What I found interesting about Chaucer from looking on the Internet was that this man had lived through the black death , the peasants revolt, and the only decapitation of an English king. This guy could have probably written about his life and turned it into a great novel.
Another thing that the Internet taught me that I thought was interesting was the fact that women worked just as hard as men during this time. I had always known that they were looked down upon in the middle ages but what I did not know was that they worked in the field along side the men

Well that about does it for me I posted the names of the sites I used down below.

Till next time

welcome

While I'm pretty sure that at least 90% of all of the visitors to this site will be a part of my english class I still feel that it would be naice to give a formal introduction everybody who will be reading my future posts so here it goes. Welcome, everyone to my first ever blog. As the name sugests I will be posting maily on british literature. The topics of my posts will depend soley on the ideas/assignments my english teacher hands out. Finally if I feel the urge I might post something all on my own (i highly doubt it but it's nice to keep the idea open). To all my future viewers i wish you all the best of luck in longwood english 202.

Peace Out
